This is my

Journey

Over the past 8 years I've built my trading journey from scratch, learning everything myself. The nights were long and the losses were frequent, but my determination kept me going.

2015/2016

I was living in Lebanon, with electricity limited to four hours a day and barely any internet. I started trading after being inspired by friends who were into sports betting and wanted to find my own passion.

2018

I moved to Germany and got a job at BMW Group as an AI Engineer, which was a significant psychological shift since I wasn't financially crushed anymore. This was a pivotal moment in my journey as I adapted to a new environment and started seeing changes in my trading journey.

2019

I shared my ambitions with colleagues, family and friends which led to my first ever portfolio management request, changing the whole trajectory of my journey.

2022

Motivated by a desire to give back and with an overflow of free time, I started mentoring, filling my mornings with trading and dedicating the rest to helping and guiding others.

2024

When I realised the overwhelming demand for mentoring, which is limited to only five students per month, I wanted to create a platform to share my knowledge with a wider audience thus launching HelloItsRoy's Lens.
